Meet The Pastor
Pastor Mark grew up in a Christian home and accepted the Lord as a child. He was involved in the Baptist Student Union at West Georgia College and has served as a youth director and resort missionary with the North American Mission Board under the Innovator Program. Prior to entering the ministry He worked at the Georgia department of Agriculture.
Pastor Mark attended seminary at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and has pastored churches in Colorado, Texas and Georgia before coming to California and Placer Heights Baptist Church in 2010. Mark has three children, Sarah, Cory and Andrew. He enjoys outdoor activities especially fishing, hunting, and family camping trips. Mark's wife Debbie passed away in December of 2015.
